Nova Smar took part in the 40th Alagoas Sugarcane Agroindustry Symposium

Nova Smar was presenting the digital system and the new OPA-S line at the 40th Alagoas Sugarcane Agroindustry Symposium 2025 from July 8 to 11 at the Ruth Cardoso Cultural and Exhibition Center in Maceió/AL.

The sales team, applications engineering, marketing and Nova Smar's local representative at STAB Maceió were represented by participants Elcio Rocha Pinto, Commercial; Alessandro Del'Arco, Applications Engineering, Edmar de Souza, Marketing and Edvaldo Araújo, EDC Smar representative in the region.

On the morning of July 11, Alessandro Del'Arco presented a lecture on “Automation, Mill, Feed Table and MCC, using decentralized control in Hart Protocol” in the industrial auditorium.

The aim of the event is to bring together the various segments of the sugarcane agro-industry. It is aimed at researchers, technicians, businesspeople, administrators, students, other professionals and institutions/companies that carry out their activities in the regional sugar-alcohol sector.

The event was attended by 800 congress participants and featured 60 local and national exhibitors over the three days.
