Nova Smar participated in Bahia Oil & Gas 2026

Nova Smar participated in Bahia Oil & Gas 2026, which took place from May 27 to 29 at the Salvador Convention Center in Salvador, Bahia.

Nova Smar was represented by the following participants: Walter Borghetti Junior, Product Manager; Alessandro Roberto Del’Arco, Applications Engineer; Edmar de Souza, Marketing; Alysson Siffert, Marketing; Antônio Lopes and Fernando Ávilla, Smar representatives for the states of Bahia and Sergipe, working with the company ALFA Automação e Controle.

“Bahia Oil & Gas is a high-profile trade show, attracting major clients and suppliers. We had some very interesting meetings with Smar clients, students in the oil and gas and automation fields, service and equipment suppliers, as well as industry professionals looking for suppliers for their contracts. The main focus was fiscal flow measurement, the HFC302, and there was also a lot of interest in positioners,” said Alessandro Del’Arco, Applications.

Bahia Oil & Gas is an international event focused on the oil and gas sector in northern and northeastern Brazil, which will address key issues related to exploration and production (upstream), transportation (midstream), refining (downstream), petrochemicals, shipbuilding, and energy integration.
