Firefighter training is conducted at Nova Smar

NR 23 Firefighter and Emergency Training is held at Nova Smar. On October 13 and 14, Nova Smar Occupational Health and Safety Department promoted Firefighter and Emergency Training. 

The theoretical program content was applied in Unit VI by the company M2A Serviços, Treinamentos e Execuções de Projetos contra Incêndios Ltda. In Units III and IV, practical training was conducted by the company's instructor, Mr. Marcelo Messias de Araújo.

Employees and some members of CIPA participated, volunteers who dedicated themselves to deepening their knowledge of becoming a company firefighter, performing a firefighting simulation, with the group being divided into three teams:

• Firefighting: focused on extinguishing the fire.

• Abandonment: responsible for evacuating people and ensuring safe exit.

• Support: provides general support with first aid and power cuts.

“M2a Serviços e Treinamentos conducted a two-day training session for the fire brigade at the Smar Units, where employees volunteered to apply the standards, achieving maximum performance in the stages of evacuation, first aid, and the fight to preserve life and property,” said Marcelo Messias de Araújo, instructor.
