From June 3 to 19, 2024, Nova Smar was in India, represented by engineer Marcelo Sant'Ana, to support Baldota engineers in commissioning the nuclear waste plant (WMP) at the NPCIL Nuclear Power Plant (Nuclear Power Corporation of India LTDA), located in Rajasthan, northern India.
NPCIL is the most important company in India's atomic power generation sector.
The WMP system uses Nova Smar technology consisting of a redundant DF75 PLC processor and Process View supervisory stations with redundant OPC servers.
Baldota's engineering team is coordinated by engineer Kiran Chavare. The entire configuration was developed by the team in India, with support from Nova Smar.
On this occasion, Nova Smar also visited the Baldota company in Mumbai.
